By installing and using the Nile Commerce app, you acknowledge that order information from your Shopify store will be tracked and synchronised with the Nile platform.
This tracking is required to enable the core functionality of the app, including:
Order synchronisation is a required component of the Nile Commerce service and cannot be disabled while the app is active.
Nile Commerce only accesses and processes the data required to provide its integration services.
We do not sell, rent, or share merchant or customer data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
The app may process the following types of information:
Nile processes this information solely for the purpose of enabling order synchronization and integration services between Shopify and the Nile platform. The merchant remains the data controller, and Nile acts only as a data processor on behalf of the merchant.
This app subscribes to Shopify order webhooks that may contain Protected Customer Data, as defi ned by Shopify.
Nile Connect complies with Shopify's Protected Customer Data requirements and implements appropriate safeguards to ensure that this data is processed securely and only for legitimate operational purposes.

Nile retains store and order data only for as long as necessary to provide the services associated with the Nile Connect integration.
When the app is uninstalled, access to the merchant's Shopify data is revoked and any stored data associated with the integration is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period, unless retention is required for legal or operational purposes.
All data transmitted between Shopify and the Nile platform is encrypted using industry-standard security protocols.
Access to merchant data is restricted to authorised personnel only and is protected using appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards.
